He was born and raised in Wickenburg, graduated from the high school in 1960, and after graduating from Arizona State, returned to his roots to teach and coach. Dan Doom, forever a fixture in the Wickenburg community as a student, a teacher, a coach, a mentor and a pretty good golfer, died on July 27 due to complications from COVID-19.
